    Hello Drew!

I installed easyrotator and have the application wizard successfully running and uploading to my wordpress site using the instructions that I detailed in this post:

    http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-easyrotator-for-wordpress-slider-builder-adobe-air-wont-install-on-linux?replies=11

The problem that I’m having now is that in WordPress it does not recognize that I have the wizard installed, even if I have the wizard app up and running in linux. I was able to create and upload a rotator to my site. But even after that, I keep getting a box at the top of my dashboard instructing me to install the wizard.

How to I get the plugin to recognize that the wizard app is installed?

    Thank you!
    TC

    Hi TC,

If everything is working properly (e.g. you can launch and create and edit rotators in the editor), then you can dismiss this message manually by taking the following steps:

    – Deactivate then re-activate the plugin
    – Look in your WP database’s usermeta table for an option with meta_key ending in this

    easyrotator_welcome_notice_hide

Change the value (in the meta_value column) to yes instead of no.

    Sincerely,
    Drew O’Neill
