[resolved] [Plugin: EasyRotator for WordPress - Slider Builder] Not showing all my categories (6 posts)

    Hi!

I love this plugin, but I´m having a serious issue with it. It doesn´t show all my categories on the data source selector, I have 46 categories and it only shows 26, there´s no scroller and I have no idea how to select a category that is not shown on this shortened list... Any ideas?

    Hi @jdegoes,

Thanks for using EasyRotator. Are the "missing" categories child categories and/or empty?

    Sincerely,
    Drew O'Neill

They are child categories. It shows a number of other child categories listed as ¨subcategory¨ but it leaves some of them out and I can´t scroll the list or search the ones I need.

And yes, BTW... they´re empty... Is that what is causing them not to show?

    Hi,

Empty ones are skipped by default. The easiest workaround is to temporarily assign a post to that category; this will make it appear in the editor. Once you've made your selection, you can undo the temporary category assignment.

Indeed, I populated the categories I wanted and they appeared on the list. Thanks for your fast response and congrats on an excellent plugin!
