   When the option Caption: Display a caption using each post's title. is unchecked (switched off) the slider does not slide the images. *

   Inserting he shortcode [nivo source="current-post"] will display the first attached image in the gallery but it will not be replaced with the next (even though it is available in the source code)

   for me the same...when disabling captions...the slider stops rolling...

   I worked around it by setting the caption opacity to 0.0001
