Hi, I'm having issues with getting the slider to get the images attached to a page: http://louisvilleherald.com/blog/ . This is a responsive theme I'm making, using the 12-grid layout. As you can see, the attached images are just displaying as they would without the slider. The plugin is installed and active, and I attached three images to the Home page and used the shortcode [egslider]. I tried also checking the "enable shortcode/php" box. Thanks for any help.

I'm not seeing this plugin active on that page. You're trying to display the slider on the main blog page? It is currently disabled on that page by default.
So you've set up the blog page as a separate page from the front page, and attached images? I hadn't considered that use. I can add this functionality. Please respond if I understand your setup.

Hi, sorry, I have been trying several sliders today, so yours is not running at the moment. I'll try and set it up on a temporary page and then post the link here.
What I had done was to put the shortcode in a static page called "home", as I would on any other page, so it really isn't the usual WP home where recent posts are listed. At any rate, the images were appearing as they would without the slider, full size and floating one after the other without any links or controls.

Ok, if the "static page called home" isn't set as the "Posts Page" in Reading Settings...it should work.

Verified set to a static page rather than posts.
Here is the test page link: http://louisvilleherald.com/blog/test-slider-plugin/
