[Plugin: Easy FAQ] Looks good, but... (6 posts)

First, this plugin needs more documentation.

Second, entries can only be made by creating an FAQ page, and letting visitors ask questions? That's a cool feature, but should there be some place in the admin panel that let's admins simply type in entries?

Also, it would be nice to have more control of the presentation. And how are entries stored? As posts? How does this plugin work.

Looks good, though, and works smoothly, but it seems a little more is required to make this a good plugin.

Thank you for your comment adamsmark.

This is my first plugin and maybe the documentation could have been better right from the beginning.. I think the new description clearly states what the abilities of my plugin are.

Maybe in the next days I add more features and options to the plugin.

I don't imagine that an FAQ plugin needs to be very complex, a person could hand-code one in HTML, but allowing users to submit questions is a good feature. Administrators need to be able to post questions/answers from the backend (admin board). Perhaps categories. Perhaps separate FAQs. I'd use it with even only a few more improvements, as I don't plan on having very long FAQs. Unless I'm missing something, there really isn't a robust FAQ out there...

I didn't rate your plugin because I'd like to see where it goes.

When I click on a question to approve it tries to open a IcaLics file instead of letting me add the answer and approve.

I found the problem. It was a conflict with another plugin.

This one is a nice plugin that I'd like to add to my "Frequent Questions" page.

My problem therefore is that I can't place it where I want (bottom of the page). Wherever I place the [easyfaq] code, the form appear at the top of the page.

Rating will follow according to the evolutions requested.

    Thanks
