Easy FancyBox
Where to adjust the CSS? (3 posts)

    Hi,

    I've used the settings under "Media" in WP to adjust the CSS of the pop-up window, without effect.
    Which file in which directory contains the CSS to change the colours and sizes of the borders? The white doesn't suit my site.

    Also: how can I have captions appear on mouseover?

    Thanks for assistance!

    Hi,

    Border size can be set on the Media page. Of those values do not change anything, there is something else going wrong.

    Instead of modifying plugin files (with the risk of loosing the mods after an upgrade) you can use a Custom CSS plugin like http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/safecss/ (but there are many others) to add extra rules dynamically, or add them into your custom theme header.php file just before the closing head tag.

    Try something like this example, or anything else really:

    <style type="text/css">
    #fancybox-outer{background-color:rgba(20,20,20,0.2)}
    #fancybox-content div{background-color:rgb(15, 15, 15)}
    #fancybox-content{border-color:transparent}
    </style>

    WordPRess captions are not supported by FancyBox and currently, the Easy FancyBox plugin does not change that. It might be in the future...

    Thanks!
    I work with the Thesis theme, and after some experimenting managed to make adjustments to the custom.css that's inherent to this theme.

    Thanks for quick response!
