I was wondering if i could suggest a feature of when viewing with an iPad, instead of tapping the next/previous buttons, you swipe to next/previous.

Don't know what this entails. Just putting it out there.

Dude, that's an excellent suggestion :)

But although I created the plugin, I am not the developer of the FancyBox script itself. So for this feature, I hope you could turn to the main FacnyBox forums on https://groups.google.com/group/fancybox and post it there.

    Thanks!

I thought as much. I have posted in the forums. Hopefully something may come of it.

I would also like to say that out of all the plugin implementations of this lightbox code, yours is the best. Mainly due to all the calls, shortcodes and classes that really make this plugin very manageable.

Although i think the admin section could be more polished. But it works awesomely.

    :)

    Thanks :)

About the admin page: because I chose to integrate the options into the Settings > Media page, I am fairly limited in how it looks. Maybe it's time to start thinking about a seperate admin page ;)

    Maybe it is time ;)

I know we have gone a bit off topic here, but can youtube/vimeo videos shown in the lightbox have captions?

Do you mean a title below it? Yes, just activate the "Show title" option on the Settings > Media page plus maybe the "Allow title from thumbnail alt tag" if you need that... Then either give the link to each movie a title attribute or (if you use thumbnails for your movie links at all) give the thumbnail an alt text.

Yes, that's what i was referring to, thank you.

Do you know if other code can be handled in the title attribute? Such as displaying a Facebook like button ect. Or would this require editing the code files of the lightbox code?

Funny you should ask. See my sandbox page http://demo.4visions.nl/easy-fancybox-sandbox/like-my-box/ where I did a test a while back.

I have put an iframe inside the alt attribute field and it turned out to work. Or at least theoretically. I have no idea of the like button actually works ;)

Let me know what you find.

The Facebook Like button on your page works fine. Facebook receives all data from it.

As long as entities are used inside the title quotes, code seems to be useable. iframe works, href works. I also tried to call the blog title with php but it wouldn't show.

A couple of downsides... All the code is visible in the tooltip hover box. I guess this could be solved with some jquery. Also, as php is not useable, adding the correct page url to the facebook like button code would have to be manual, and would mean that each video link would need its own page.

    So yes, it works... Kinda.

Do you get that tooltip on the sandbox page http://demo.4visions.nl/easy-fancybox-sandbox/like-my-box/ also? I don't see it in Opera or Firefox...

About the page URL: what happens if you leave it empty? Does it default to the current page URL maybe?
