Easy FancyBox
[resolved] Problems with Twenty Eleven theme (8 posts)

    Hi! Love the Easy FancyBox. It's... well... easy, and fancy.

    As soon as I changed from the Twenty Ten to the Twenty Eleven theme, it's not working properly anymore. When the FancyBox pops up, it's actually behind the site menu (at the top of the page), rather than on top of it.

    Is there any code I can add - or something I can change, to force the FancyBox to appear over everything else on the page?

    Hi, this has been discussed many times before (but I understand things are not so easy to find here on the WP forums)...

    On http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/easy-fancybox/other_notes/ there is a CSS rule that you can use. Alternatively, you could upgrade to the latest development version from http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/easy-fancybox.zip

    Thanks for your response!

    I tried searching, but wasn't sure how to limit the search results to JUST FancyBox posts. And I didn't even think to look on the main plugin page to see if it was a known issue.

    Adding the CSS plugin and rule did the trick.

    Thanks again!!

    You can apply this in your main theme css,

    #branding {z-index:9999 change it to z-index:1}

    I know this has been beaten to death but and I had this working fine until just recently.

    I haven't changed anything (with the exception of trying to troubleshoot) and I now have the Header image appearing on top of my images again.

    I'm not sure if a recent update did something or what. Any help would be appreciated.

    #branding {
    z-index: 999;
    }

    I had put the following code into my style.css and replaced the file on my FTP, which didn't do anything.

    Following an earlier suggestion to go to Appearance> Edit CSS> and add it there resolved the issue.

    I believe a recent update to WordPress (possibly a re-install) eliminated the code.
