PDF's are loading up as code in the fancy box for some reason.. I've tried it in both Safari & Firefox.

The pdf's load fine when you go straight to the link...

    Any ideas?

Also have tried it on a PC. Same. Site is behind some security so I can't post login info on here.

Is the server sending the correct mime-type response headers for PDF files? To check that you can use http://web-sniffer.net or similar services. You should see a "Content-Type: application/pdf" header.

Does this happen with the first link on http://demo.status301.net/easy-fancybox-sandbox/pdf-embeds/ too? Then it's probably something with your Adobe Reader install. Otherwise, use the fancybox-iframe method as the two other links on that demo page (disable the PDF option in the FancyBox settings)...

No, the link on http://demo.status301.net/easy-fancybox-sandbox/pdf-embeds/ works fine in my browsers.

And I've tried both the iframe and non iframe method. Still can't figure it out.

Having same issue trying to use it on a new site as well, easyfancybox is the only active plugin. http://72.29.90.35/~angelnam/news/press-releases/

/bump because I'm having the exact same problem.

I've used pdf's in Easy Fancybox pop-up on older sites and this is the first time I encounter this issue.

What happens if you access these PDFs directly in a new browser tab? Or embed them in your site content without FancyBox?

FancyBox does not change the files or modify mime-type response headers so I really is no reason why FancyBox could be causing this issue...
