[Plugin: Easy FancyBox] Having problems with PDF

    Hi!

    I am using this plugin to display pdf files. Majority of users have no problems, but some said that they have problems viewing the files.

    What are the requirements for browser or pdf reader for this plugin to work properly? I mean what can I suggest them to use, since I cant ask each and everyone what is their system configuration and I cant reproduce the problem from my computer.

    Hi,

    Displaying PDF files is not done by the WordPress plugin. It just manages the embed code. After that, it’s up to the visitors browser and PDF plugin to manage the display. The problem is that the usual embed code for PDF files is not standardised and there are no reliable object embed javascript solutions to provide graceful degredation like with flash embeds. So some browsers will have problems with displaying embedded PDFs and there is not much I can do about that.
