[resolved] Host does not support set_time_limit() (9 posts)

    Keep getting this when i klick the download link in the confirmation e-mail.

    I found another topic that resolved this in this forum, but when I contacted my host they told me that they don´t give access to php.ini neither do they support set_time_limit().

    How could I resolve this?

    Host has server set in safe mode off.

    Commented out set_time_limit() on line 81 in
    wp-content/plugins/easy-digital-downloads/includes/process-download.php
    and
    wp-content/plugins/easy-digital-downloads/includes/download-functions.php
    on line 494.
    Problem solved.

    No. No message at all. It looked perfectly fine until I clicked the link.

    Actually, no, The problem with the download link is sorted. At first I got this messy page with all the warning messages. The same as in this thread: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-easy-digital-downloads-set-time-limit-warnings?replies=8
    That was sorted out by editing out "set_time_limit()"

    But now I´m messing with the PayPal redirect. It only redirects back to my page manually and I can´t figure out how to automatically make it redirect. And.. Payments still show up as pending in the logs. Annoying, since it seemed so easy at first.

  7. When you refer to the PayPal Redirect, are you talking about when you click "Purchase" on the checkout page, which should then take you to PayPal? Is it not taking you to PayPal? What happens, can you describe it?

    For the payments not getting marked as complete, this could be caused by a variety of things. Please take a look at the FAQs here and try the solutions on that page.

    Sorry, missed the redirect settings in PayPal. Going to fix that now. I´ll check the FAQs and see If I can solve the payment status issue.
