    Hi there,

I did an install on this the other day and didn't have time to spend working it out. I deleted the checkout and purchase pages as they showed up on the top level of my site.

Since then i've gone back in and firsly deleted the plugin, then reinstalled it, but I can't get the checkout to work. I can add the product to the Download Cart widget ok, and test the page, but when i click on 'Checkout' to test it, nothing happens.

Any help would be appreciated as this looks like a great plug-in.

    regards
    Steven

  2. Steven,

Have you recreated the checkout page? Once you have (if you haven't already), go to Downloads > Settings > General and select the newly created page for the "Checkout Page" page.

You also need to make sure that you have the [download_checkout] short code placed on that page.

    Hi Pippin,

Thanks for the reply. I went in to area above and as I haven't recreated these pages yet, there is nothing in the dropdowns for 'Checkout Page' or 'Success Page'.

Do I have to include any special code to create these? Or do I just create them as single pages with those names?

    thanks again
    Steven

  4. Just create regular pages (named anything you want) and then select them in settings. For the page you select as the checkout page, it must have the [download_checkout] short code placed in its contents.

    Hey there,

Ok so i've kind got this working now, but i'm not seeing a 'Your Downloads' folder once I make a test purchase. I may have deleted this previously i'm not sure (see above).

Thanks again for your quick support Pippen!

  7. By "Your Downloads folder" do you mean a page that shows the user's purchase history?

Yeah when I make a test purchase, i'm then looking for the 'Your Downloads' area where user can access and actually download the files after they have paid. This isn't happening at the moment, like I say it's only on test/draft.

  9. Create a page called "Your Downloads" (or anything you want) and then place either [download_history] or [purchase_history] on that page.

    Hi there,

More problems with this unfortunately. I have everything working as I thought it should. However, when the files download, all you get is a file icon and name, but the files have no data. All file sizes are all 0kb.

    Any ideas? :(

  11. What version of the plugin are you running on and where are the files stored on your server?

I'm using Version 1.1.5.1, and I uploaded the files using the plugin. How do I find where they're stored?

They play ok in the browser from the URL

  15. Please upgrade to v1.1.8. There were several changes made specifically to fix this problem.
