My old template plugin wasn’t up to snuff anymore so I was looking for a new one. Easy Content Template looked perfect. But it’s not working right.

I created a template by an admin user. I verified the “share” button was checked. I then log out and log in as a author level user. “no templates defined” BOOOO. Here’s the odd part and potentially a bug. When I view the all templates page as a third admin user, I see the usual WP count “1 template, 1 published”, but the list is completely empty. Like the code counts ALL templates, even private ones. Not a big deal, just saying.

Any chance you can look at why the 2nd and 3rd user (admin and author) can’t see the “shared” (just triple checked to make sure the box was checked) template?

    Thank you.

    * i remember typing a reply for this but when i checked back i couldn’t see it, it may be some error in wp.org servers, anyways… *

hey thanks for trying out my plugin.
where do you see the “no templates defined” message?

btw the share option is there so others can “use” it when creating posts. i don’t remember designing it with the intention of letting others edit your templates.

    hope this helps!
