WP 3.3.1. compatibility ? (9 posts)

    Hello,

    I have a problem here.
I think it's not working with WPMU 3.3.1.

I can upload the plugin, it shows normally on my website admin but it says "oups, something happened, please re install the plugin again".
I've done this many times, but it's not improving.

I have the menu "dynamic widget" created under the "appearence" menu on my admin but it's empty, I just have this message.

On my other WP 3.3.1 website it's showing normally but options are not saved.

Is this a compatibilitty issue with WP 3.3.1 ?

How can I solve this ?

    Hello Marie-John,

It's not possible to do a network activation on WPMU. DW will refuse this. See also the FAQ.

I have the following error when clicking on your link

Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in /home/stilettogirl.nl/public_html/qurl.nl/www/wp-content/themes/qurlwise/single.php on line 9

SO ok, I'll try to find something else for my network.
But for the other WP website I have, wich isn't a network, My settings are not saved.
Any idea ? (the link you provided is broken).

    Hi Marie-John,

Oops... wrong link, that was for a customer of mine. Apparently something got awry there. The correct link: http://www.qurl.nl/dynamic-widgets/faq/

Which options are not saved? All or from a specific section?

    Hello,

love your plugin. but seems to be causing a bug now with latest 3.3.3 release.

    1. I did a brand new WP install on test server
    2. loaded in base pages and child them
    3. then checked widgets screen and confirmed no issue dragging Text or Custom Menu or etc over to side bar to add to pages
    4. installed your plugin
    5. went back to widgets screen and dragged a Text and Custom Menu widget over to side bar to add to pages.. BUT the failed to expand down and show fields for input as per normal. If you then click the 'save' button on the added widget then the expanded fields show up. So something not right.
    6. Then went back and de-activated your widget
    7. Then back to widgets screen again...and everything back to normal and working. Dragging widgets over into side bar results again in getting the normal functionality of expanding down and prompting for title and so forth.

FYI. take a look and see if you can track down ... would love to keep using this plugin!...and definitely will throw you a few bucks for the effort :)

    Hi donovanacker,

Yeah, I've had a few reports already about this. Seems to be going something wrong with the showing of the DW link. Fortunately there is quite an easy workaround this. Just hit the Save button at the Text Widget and everything comes back.
