• I am using this plugin to show a widget with a menu of child pages.

I am using a theme (Weaver 2.2.4) with a lot of page templates.
There may be some templates where it is inappropriate but for the moment I have it set to be used on all template types except pop-ups.

It is working fine on static pages (default template).

However, when using a “page with posts” template it doesn’t appear. (The sidebar is there with an empty widget container – it’s not due to the lack of a sidebar).

Wondered if the problem applies to all the page templates which include posts and tried another – set up another page purely to test another (page with 2 cols of post excerpts), this time the sidebar is there, with the widget container – and it has the (correct) title but the menu is missing!

    Working on http://stourvalechurches.org.uk/churches/west-stour/
select “special events” from this – not working
select “testing different templates” – title only appearing

    Any help appreciated,
    thank you,
    Teresa

    Hi Teresa,

Does the menu widget appear when there are no DW rules applied (aka Static)? When that’s the case: What rules have you applied to the widget?

Sorry, I should have checked that – no it doesn’t, so I guess the problem is with the plugin generating the menu (or my use of it)

    thanks for your quick response,
    Tereas
