My slides are transparent PNGs, but the slider has a black background, which I can't seem to figure out how to get rid of. Any ideas? I've been through all the CSS that I can find.

Sorry -- I was too quick to ask.
If anybody else is having the same problem:
It's in jd.gallery.css, around line 44: .jdGallery .slideElement
Hi there,
I have an issue with the Dynamic Content Gallery "Jquery" option.
Is there away how to change the text under the slides?
The current text are all upper case. I want to use upper and lower case on the text.
Waiting for your response.
Thank you.
Dalia
Sounds like you have CSS in your style.css which is overriding the plugin's CSS.
PS: For quicker DCG support, use the dedicated DCG Forum.
The css class to change the slider color is .slideInfoZone and not .slideElement
