I am new to WordPress, but have moved/installed several sites using Duplicator and so far it has worked great. However, today I need to move a WordPress site from our development server to our live server and I get the following error when I try to activate Duplicator:

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Warning: require_once(/mnt/stor10-wc1-ord1/813974/www.country-groomer.com/web/content/wp-admin/includes/upgrade.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /mnt/stor10-wc1-ord1/813974/www.country-groomer.com/web/content/mlb-content/plugins/duplicator/duplicator.php on line 67

    Any ideas?

  • I use Duplicator a lot, so stumbled on to this post. If you are still interested, there are two possibilities that come to mind:

    1. Site URL or Home URL in General Settings for WordPress are wrong. Note that they can also be overridden in wp-config.php.
    2. Duplicator has stored all or part of an install path. Delete and re-install Duplicator to solve this.

In any case, in the error message above, what stands out to me is that the paths don’t match. One is …/web/content/mlb-content/plugins/… and the other is …/web/content/wp-admin/…

    Thanks for the response.

I had actually forgotten about this post. I finally resolved the issue but for the life of me cannot remember how.
