    Hello,
I'v installed v2.2 first, and with 2.3 it's the same.
After installing, and activating, i can see the "reglage" link, but nothing happens, and in the list of articles, yhe link "copier" does not appear.
I used duplicate post previously on antother blog, and it worked fine. I don't see where is the difference between the 2 installations.

    Thanks

    Hi,
have you checked if your role is enabled in settings page? Also, version 2.3 adds three checkbox to choose where to show the "Copy"/"Clone" links: they should be set as visible by default, but something could have happened...

If these don't work, maybe there is a plugin conflict? The two blogs are absolutely identical, or the second one has any plugins that the first ("working") one doesn't have?

    Hello,
    My role is super admin.
I can't open the setup page of the extension.
There are the next modules that are on the new blog and not on the first one :
    AddThis Social Bookmarking Widget
    CodeStyling Localization
    Google Analyticator
    TinyMCE Advanced
    WordPress Database Backup

how can i see if it's a conflict?

    Hi,
if you're super admin, it means you're using WP as a multiblog... right?

I use almost all those plugin with no problems, the only one I don't know nothing of is CodeStyling Localization.

To find out if there is a conflict, you should deactivate the plugins (better if one by one) and see if my plugin works.

    Hello,
I don't understand "multiblog". I have just one blog on this domain name.

I've tried to desactivate each other plugin one by one, and it's the same.

    Hello bis,

You gave me an idea. I created a new user with admin role, and connect with it. It does not have the rights to see the extension panel, but is able to see the setup panel for duplictae post. When i tried to change something : for example allow super admin to duplicate, and push validation button, i arrive on a simple page "alors, on triche", and that's all ! impossible to modify.

What I don't get is why you talk about "super admin": it's a role which is used only when WP is set up as "multiblog"(one installation, multiple blogs). If you have a standard WP installation, you shouldn't see any super admin, only "simple" admin.

Another thing: how come the new admin doesn't have "the rights to see the extension panel"? Admins should have the rights to do anything, by definition, unless someone or something (e.g. a plugin) changes their capabilities.

I dont understand. In the wpconfig.php, there is not multisite true, and there is no network option in the tools menu. I would say that WP is not configured as multisite, and i have surper admin role, and admin role does not have all rights !! i dont see what to do !

I'm afraid there is something messed up in your installation... Maybe you should try to set up a new installation, copy the theme, install the plugins you need (and only those you need) then export your posts from the old blog and import them in the new installation.
