I am just wondering if anyone has successfully set up multiple variations on a single product, as I am having no success in doing this myself. The first variation set always works fine and adding a second variation set shows up when using the Preview option; as soon as I press Publish, however, the second variation set disappears from both the product entry view and on the published page.
I have had some dialogue via email with Kelvin on this, but as the site is currently not online for him to check out, no solution has been found. So I was just wondering if anyone else has successfully managed to achieve multiple variation sets on a product.
Thanks for any help...
If you look at this: http://dukapress.org/demo/products/double-vessels/ it is possible as shown on our demo.
Why don't you try upload the included sample data (which includes all the products as seen on the demo) to a test install and see how it is?
Have got it sorted now - it appears to be some weirdness with adding a second variation to an already published product. If both variation sets are done before publishing for the first time then it works without issue.
The only way to add a second variation to an already published product is to save the second variation, refresh the browser page and then use the Update button.

I want to set up a product to have 2 options. The product is a book and I have the book in both paperback and downloadable PDF. Can I use the options/variations to set up one price for the book and another price for the downloadable PDF?
I can't figure out how to set one option as a shippable product and the other option as a download.
Is this possible with Dukapress?
Thank you!
@BaconLover, this is currently not possible with DukaPress.
