   Hi,

   I have a simple requirement- I want to give a secure download link to my users for file download. This file should not be available publicly and only the person to whom I've sent the link should be able to download.

   Is this possible with this plugin? how?

   Yes, you can do that by using password for download. So only the persons who knows password will able to download.

   Hi, I do not want to complicate things by password. I have 500+ users and would like to notify them of new file resources by sharing a secure link.

   This is similar to most file sharing website- box.com, rapidshare.com; where files are not visible in google results but accessible via secure link.
