I installed this plugin and would like to change the Donate words, The reason is mainly as I have been looking online and found that PayPal has a tendency to halt funds for donation on non-Charity accounts.
Looking into this further I believe it would be best to replace "Donate" with "Support". Basically allowing my readers to show their support of my writing, curating, etc. The word "Donate" can too easily be misrepresented as a tax deductible donation which would not be the case with the vast majority of people/sites using this model.

I would like this as well. A custom language file would be ideal :)

I made changes to mine. I edited the doante-plus.php file using the find function of my browser I located the following
class="donate_amount"><label for="amount">'.__('Sponsored Amount', 'dplus').':</label>
class="recognition_wall"><label><input type="checkbox" id="recognize" name="recognize" value="1" /> '.__('Put my Sponsorship on the Recognition Wall','dplus').'</label>
As you can see I already have the changes from donation to Sponsor. I still need to wait for my 1st sponsor to fully test if that is all the places I want the changes to take place
