   If I choose not to include the page, it hides it also from the main menu. Together from all the submenus.

   Sounds like it works as it should do to me ;-)

   That's exactly what the plugin should do: exclude the page from ALL automatically generated lists of pages.

   Caveats: It doesn't have any effect on WordPress menus (the drag and drop kind that you maintain from Appearance > Menus in the admin area), and it doesn't work if the theme doesn't use wp_list_pagesto generate the list of pages.
