   dmsguestbook activates fine. I can set the settings fine. But, when I go to the page assigned to the guestbook, it just hangs, and hangs, and hangs, and hangs, until it times out.

   I have installed, uninstalled, and installed again about 6 times. Nothing works.

   Try out following steps:
   - deactivate all other plugins
   - switch to another theme
   - install DMSGuestbook on another server or your local machine with on XAMMP
