DJ Rotator For WordPress
[resolved] Doesn't Work With Sidebars Involving AJAX (8 posts)

On our website our sidebar can be dragged and some sections can be closed, but this plugin ignores the sidebar completely and bypasses it to sit on top of the sidebar. You can see the sidebar here http://918thefan.com/ We were unable to use the plugin as we wanted since we couldn't put it where we wanted in the sidebar. I hope to see this in future builds, thank you for your hardwork.

Sorry it's doing that. How you tried using the Template Tag to place it where you want it?

I did mess around with the shortcode and template tag, but I couldn't get it to work with the type of sidebar we have. It would either only situate itself on the top of the sidebar or the bottom, never anywhere in the middle.

I'm not sure if that's because it didn't want to recognize the sidebar as it is dynamically or not...?

Though thank you for the reply, rare to see those on plugin forums sometimes :)

No problem. I would love to see this "dynamic ajax sidebar" in action to see if I can't crack the code. If you want, email me a WP log in to: gregrickaby@gmail.com

After testing it, it seems to be solely a Firefox issue, and on top of that it only seems to effect certain people. As for the plugin, that works fine, but all in all it's an inconsistent browser issue I'm not sure I can pin-point.

Thank you for all your help though, as I said before not many people will go this length to respond to an issue. :D

No problem. I was able to test it successfully with Firefox 8, Chrome, and Internet Explorer. I'm glad it works when FF isn't being wonky.
