Migration Failures (5 posts)

I've been trying to get disqus to help with this to no avail - but we migrated DuckofMinerva to wordpress about a week ago (www.whiteoliphaunt.com/duckofminerva), and followed all the instructions to migrate our (thousands of) disqus comments - to no avail. The plugin works fine, but the migrated comments aren't anywhere to be found. Any help would be .... loved!

I am having this same issue. I migrated two blogs together and wish to bring in the old comments. I have used the migration tool aswell as uploaded the txt file in the required format to route the old urls to the new urls. Says it is all good and may take some time. Up to a couple of weeks later and still no change...

Lost and don't know what to do now.

I've done the same thing...tried to migrate from Tumblr to Disqus..was in contact with their support once, but the fix they gave me didn't work. Followed all the instructions (used their migration tool), confirmed the urls are exactly the same, but nothing. Final note, last time I had this problem, it turns out it was a problem at Disqus, not a configuration problem on my end.

I'm thinking its a problem with disqus, but can't get them to do anything but send generic emails that are obviously not the problem ...

I agree....maybe they just help the people who are paying for support (like $99/month).
