Hello,
thx for this great plugin!

I have a little problem. I am creating a website for a customer. Now we want to go online in the next days.
Problem: Not all categories have posts yet. So is there a way to create a special message when there are “No posts to show”…

Something like “Sorry! Right now there are no news” …
I hope you understand what i mean?! 🙂

Anyone please? If this isn’t possible I have to switch to another plugin. 🙁

I’ve just added this as a feature to the development version of the plugin. It will be included in the next release which should be in a few days. If you’d like to use it before then, download the development version (trunk) from here: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/display-posts-shortcode/developers/

And here’s an example of how it’s used. Place this in your theme’s functions.php file or in a core functionality plugin: http://www.billerickson.net/code/display-posts-shortcode-no-results/
