First, let me say that discography is an excellent tool. Thank you! I'm willing to help with this issue any way that I can. I'm fair with ajax/php etc. But a pointer in the right direction would help. Perhaps it's a quick to solve issue. Anyone else seen or resolved this?

    The issue:

However, recently, both prior to my upgrade to WP 2.7 from 2.6, and then still after the upgrade, the "Add Song" option is not visible in the Discography management interface. I can add groups, etc., but not songs. To add a few more recently, I went in to the MySQL DB and directly edited this (after the issue arose and I couldn't figure it out).

Any ideas? I've started perusing the code in songs.ajax.php.

    Thanks very much.

Update on this from me (original poster): Looking through the songs.ajax.php code now, I don't see anything to put an "Add Song" button or icon in there. Perhaps I'm just not correctly remembering how to add a song. Can any suggest or remind me how to add a song other than editing the MySQL Db?

    Thank you.

For anyone out there who was having the same brain blockage, you add songs by going to the Group/Album page, and then clicking the Add Songs button for a group or album on the right in the group of four icons. Then in there, ignore the 'Select Existing Song', add all the information you need to including link etc. for the new song.

I've seen this question come up a few times in the forums, so I hope this helps someone else. I'd done a while back, and then been a hurry lately trying to get a few things up and totally overlooked while reading too fast. Let me say that manually editing the MySQL db was not a faster solution than if I had just slowed down a bit to read the page... heh.

Good Luck, and Dan, Thanks again for an excellent plugin.
