Okay, so some debugging, ironically courtesy of IE. I noticed when loading the page in IE that is paused on the Digg Digg icons and gave me an “insecure content” warning – if I choose to ignore insecure content, it would not load the Digg Digg twitter icon. Returning to Chrome I found a small shield in the navbar that when hovered over said “Some content is insecure, load anyway?” and when I clicked it, it then showed the twitter icon as normal.

I will scour the Digg Digg plug-in menu for any https: type stuff and also look at its code. Anybody run into this issue and can point me how to fix it before I (hopefully) figure it out?

    Thanks,
    Jeff

Okay so I did some reading and installed wordpress https plugin -> http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-https/ and that seems to have fixed the problem. I will re-open if I find any more kookiness.

    Thanks,
    Jeff
