    Sorry about that. I just re-tested to confirm that this plugin does work up to WordPress 4.0. This means that it writes the rules to your php5.ini and/or to your php.ini. However, some web hosts ignore these settings. Hostgator, in the past, was responding well to these settings.

    According to this page at Hostgator, your max limits are already high enough. That would mean that you don’t even need this plugin.

    Please go to “Tools -> Upload Max Filesize” to see your current status. What does the current status show for your ‘upload_max_filesize’? It should be as high as 64 (if you remove the lines which you added to your .htacess).
