   Hello, I've been wondering for a while now if it's possible to display global recent posts with the post's featured image? My alternative was to use custom avatars, I tried using an avatar override plugin (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/add-local-avatar/) but Diamond Multisite still fetches the original gravatar.

   Thanks in advance, this is a great plugin! I don't know why they haven't permanently integrated this feature into multisite yet.

   With the avatars I use the bulit in get_avatar action. So the other plugin should apply the get_avatar filter.

   I try to use the featured images but I can't resize them.

   Is it possible to call any images? A thumbnail would be great!
