• Hi – what is the difference is between the fields “Posts Count” and “Maximum posts per blog” ..??..

my test seemed to suggest which ever one is less is the one that takes precedence in how many posts get displayed in the widget ..??..

e.g., if i set “Posts count=11” yet further down in admin screen select “maximum posts per blog = 2” then only two posts are shown …

yet if i reverse numbers and say post-count=2 and max-posts=4 then only two posts are shown …

thus what is difference / reason for using one field versus the other ..??.. to be continued … cordially, chuck scott

okay – i think i figured out the answer so gonna answer my own thread here …

answer = post counts shows the most recent (newest posts) so if i set it to 3 and Maximum posts to zero, then i get the most recent three … but if i set the reverse, maximum posts to 3 and post counts blank – then i only get the oldest first three posts in that blog (or series of blogs) pulling in …

as an aside, it would be super cool to be able to include blog categories on the blogs we put on the white list …

    cheers – cs
