Diamond MultiSite Widgets
Diamond Multisite - Blogs List (33 posts)

I love this plugin, can I make a feature request? Add another widget for listing blogs in the network - with similar options like the current widgets have, like exclude some blogs; there are other plugins that can do this but they don't allow you to exclude blogs.

So I would do it like this:

list the blogs in order that they were last updated, and show the number of posts in brackets after the name of the blog, and as I mentioned allow to manually exclude some.

    Just an idea...

You're a star; just some feedback, I can't exclude blogs, when I check the boxes and Save it won't save, but all the other options work fine.

Great stuff, sent a donation. I forgot, might be a good idea to add the avatar function in there as well, should be easy as you already use it in the other widgets. Thanks again.

    Thank you!

Avatar support will be in the future Ithink. The problem with it, that in multisite environment one blog has more users and one user has more blogs. But a simple solution (first user's avatar) may be published in the near future.

Right, was also going to ask for blog author name, but maybe same problem there...

Anyway you could include Sort Order by Post Count to the Blogslist widget? That would be good to have.

    Great plugin for Multisite

Sort by Post Count Doesn't work. When Saving to By Last Update switches to By post count. The only way I can get it to work somewhat is saving post count ASC but it doesn't list them in order. I've tried resetting cache, deactivating the plugin. What coud it be?

Looks as though it is working but the ordered list is not DESC starting with the highest number posts. ASC order seems to be working

    hai,

after upgrading to 1.7.7 plugin started to work incorrectly:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in ..wp-content/plugins/diamond-multisite-widgets/diamond-cache.php on line 14

    WP 3.0.1 PL

Am I alone with the problem?

    nahummadrid:

Unfortunately this version is a half solution for the 'order by post count.'
Now I'm selecting the blogs and after sort it with code. So I'm not selecting with the good order expression. I didn't want to write a subquery for that, but I will!

I list all of them, it appears at the beginning of the first listed sections (posts).

You can check error @ website szachuje.pl (left menu posts, blogs, right - comments). Error appears at the top of left menu, above first widget.

    regards,

I get the same problem as wash. Are there any progress on this bug?

I get it when i use the shortcode on a page:
    [diamond-post date_format="j F Y" exclude="1" format="<h3>{title}</h3><small>{date}</small><p>{excerpt}</p>" /]

Daniel, about the problem "Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in ..wp-content/plugins/diamond-multisite-widgets/diamond-cache.php on line 14"

I can't give access currently, but I solved this by putting simply line on the begining of diamond-cache.php:

    error_reporting(E_ERROR|E_PARSE);

Of course I understand that this will not help to solve, but anyway, at least this can be some workaround.

And thank you again for the excellent plugin.

    Hello,
Sorry for the late reply. Whitelist in shortcode had a bug so it didn't worked till now. You can update to the new version to fix the problem.

    Hi,

I have activated the Diamond Multisite Widget, but get the following errors : http://imm.io/856O

Unfortunately I am using this on a live site and I cannot keep the code live with the errors showing. Any help on this will be appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Hi hhelmbold,
You should add write permission to the plugin's directory for WP, or create cache_recent-posts, cache_recent-comments and cache_bloglist subdirs.

    Regards,
    Roland
