[Plugin: DB Cache Reloaded] Caching when logged in (5 posts)

    S,

I have been using DB Cache Reloaded now for a couple of weeks and all appears to be going OK except when logged in. I am finding "strange" things happening when this plugin is enabled and I am logged in as Admin performing maintenance tasks.

Any chance of providing a feature/option to disable caching for logged in user?

    Regards,

Plugin does not cache backend pages (admin section). It also does not cache queries for AJAX requests and CRON.
The only one "strange" thing I am aware of is new theme preview - WP shows currently used one instead of this which you want to preview.

Could you provide more details when these "strange" things happens?

    S,

Thanks for responding. Two issues I noticed - which might or might be related to your plugin.

    1) I was doing some maintenance on tags via WordPress interface and my tags ended up corrupt. Had to go into phpmyadmin to clean up. Once cleaned up I disabled DB Cache and was able to maintain tags no problem.

    2) When making changes to "WP Download Monitor Plugin" settings with your plugin enabled changes are not reflected on the screen. Only after disabling DB Cache am I able to see changes.

I know information I have given you is perhaps not enough to conclude whether it's your plugin that is causing this hiccup. Hopefully someone else is reporting similar issues.

I would really like to see an option within DB Cache Reloaded to disable all caching for logged in users.

I added cache cleaning when some options are changes from admin backend, so it should fix your problem. Please upgrade to version 1.3.
