Check the comments (and resolution) for WP2.7 compatibility on the author's site: http://www.daikos.net/widgets/daikos-youtube-widget/
We're about to roll this out on a WP2.7.1 install at http://blog.cheaphotelsgroup.com and it seems to work OK!

UPDATE: The above isn't true, we switched to Subzane's Plugin:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/subzane-youtube-recent-videos-widget/
PROBLEM WITH DAIKO'S: Parsing the YouTube RSS feeds for usernames and tagnames is broken. Whether because Youtube have changed their feed (see http://www.youtube.com/rssls) or some other reason, we preferred Subzanes.

Thanks for the tip regarding parsing the YouTube RSS. That is the exact problem I am having. I really like Daiko's YouTube widegt for the shadowbox popup but it's a real pain to have to go back in and manually add a new "Videos [YouTubeID]@[TITLE]{Line brake}" each time a user adds a new video.
I'd love to see this widget updated. It's good stuff with some minor issues.
