    The one thing I'd advise is commenting the section that users should edit. It was not readily apparent to me that the plugin would automatically remove the wordpress link, either.

    This aside, it's a very helpful plugin. Thanks!

    From the plugin description:

    Customize meta widget without modifying of any source code - for example, remove sometimes unneccessary link to wordpress.org

    A better explanation of what this plugin does might be:

    "This plugin simply removes the WordPress.org link when the Meta Widget is used."

    I just thaught it would not be polite (for wordpress developers) to write it so directly ^___^'
    But I really don't think that it's polite to put almost unremovable link to developer site either...

    Jehy - you should also add "meta" to your list of tags for your plugin.

    When I activate the plugin my meta widget completely disappears from the homepage.
