    Can I set this to set a particular sidebar on a per-page basis?

    I.e. Page A uses sidebar #1, Page B uses sidebar #2, etc.

    Looks like I can choose pages by type (post pages, regular pages, etc)... but not quite the Page A, Page B, etc level.

    I was wondering about that as well? I need a plugin that does that.

    Yes, of course you can.

    Go to edit your page, and there you can set the sidebar you need for it.

    Easy.

    I have the same problem. With no defaults selected, any wp-page that I assign a specific sidebar loads no sidebar at all.

    The Custom Sidebar plugin doesn't work with my template for what I'm trying to do. I have regular pages and a blog separately.

    If I have a regular page I want it to load the standard left sidebar sidebar-2.php and right sidebar sidebar-1.php for pages. If I have a blog page I want it to load the standard left sidebar and right sidebar sidebar-blog.php for blog pages.

    I've tried this code, but all i get is sidebar-1.php displayed both for regular and blog pages. What am I missing?

    <?php is_page_template($template); ?>
    <?php get_header(); ?>
    <?php get_sidebar(2); ?>
    <?php
    if ( is_page_template('blog_page.php')==TRUE ) :
    include ('sidebar-blog.php');
    else :
    get_sidebar(1);
    endif;
    ?>

    website I'm working on is here: http://www.swanzshop.com

    Main issue I'm having with Custom Sidebar is that it's ok for customized widget display, but what if I want varying standard text in the sidebar?
