   Thanks for this plugin - I'm always on the lookout for an easier way to input content into widgets and really like this approach!

   I'm wondering how to add additional fields for the custom post type? Is this as simple as using one of the custom field plugins to add fields to this custom post type? Is it easy to interface this?

   I think I just figured this out. By using something like: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/advanced-custom-fields/ - you can easily add custom fields to any custom post type (including the content_blocks CPT) and page, post, category, etc. you want. I'm sure there are other plugins that would do the same thing.
