[Plugin: Custom Post Type View Generator] Duplicate Posts

I’m using the “quick post widget” plugin to edit and create new posts from front-end.

With the “Custom Post Type View Generator” plugin disabled it’s only creating one post, but with it enabled it’s creating a duplicate post.

The problem seems to be a combination of the two plugins, because when I create a new post from the back-end only one is created.

Despite my searching and efforts I haven’t found a good way to debug this, much less come up with an elegant solution.
