Hi Friends,

i entered into the situation that, we have to create "N" number of custom post types and create post for each custom post type and assign that post to category too.

- in user panel

i have to display each post type (example: blogs,news etc) as page.

in this page..i like to show the Image and its description

so is it possible to have "Featured Image" option and Editor for description at "Add custom post type" page?

hope i clearly mentioned my needs

Hi there! My featured image boxes are also not showing up in my custom posts. I'm using the 'types' plugin. How did you fix this problem?

I can't see the Featured Image panel, too. I created a custom post type with Featured Image support.
However, when I edit the post, I can't see the featured image box.
How did you fix it?

You should not need to use Custom Post Type UI and Types together. I would use one or the other as it sounds like they are conflicting with each other somehow

I solved the problem. I also use the Advanced Custom Fields plugin.
It allows to attach the custom fields to a custom post type and to decide which metaboxes to hide.
I did not see that the checked metaboxes would be hidden and not shown, so I checked the Featured Image box and it got hidden. After unchecking it everything was solved.
