[Plugin: Custom Post Type UI] Clicking "Create Custom Post Type" takes me to Login Page?? (11 posts)

    Just installed the plugin with no problems. Clicked on "Add New" and then filled in "Products" for the first two fields.. "Post Type Name" and "Label" and then "Product" for "Singular Label." Then when I clicked on "Create Custom Post Type," it didn't create anything. Instead it took me out of this page and redirected me to the WordPress login page.

    Confused I resigned in and looked in the dashboard to find the new Post Type. Nothing. I tried several times, with different words.. like "test" instead of "Products"... still the same thing.

    Anyone have any ideas what is happening or what I am doing wrong?

    (Using version 0.6 of plugin)

    What does your URL structure for your site look like? Is it domain.com/wp-admin or something different?

    When I am in the page to add a new post type the url is:

    http://www.my domain].com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=custom-post-type-ui/custom-post-type-ui.php_cpt_add_new

    Is this what it should be?

    @Williamsba1 ~

    I also just tried deactivating my not only all plugins but the Custom Post Type UI, and switching my Headway Theme back to the default WordPress theme... And it still seems to be logging me out and sending me to the WP Login screen right after I click on "Create Custom Post Type."

    Have you ever heard of this happening with your plugin?

    Sorry that first sentence ended up making no sense at all in the English language. Let me try that again:

    "I just tried deactivating all of my plugins except for the Custom Post Type UI, and also switched my Headway Theme back to the default WordPress theme... (just in case) and it still seems to be logging me out and sending me to the WP Login screen right after I click on "Create Custom Post Type."

    And of course.. it isn't creating the new post type for me - when I log back in it's not there.

    Thanks for any help you can give me. :)

    I have this same issue.
    I have a slightly custom setup with my domain - I had to define my URLs due to some issue with HTACCESS.
    This is in my wp-config:

    define('WP_HOME','http://www.domain.co.za/site');
    define('WP_SITEURL','http://www.domain.co.za');

    I'm also using a different URL for the actual site than for WP.

    It seems the URL that the plugin is posting to does not include the WWW part of the domain, which might be part of the issue?

    The plugin runs fine on one of my other sites though.

    I updated the plugin with what I hope is a fix to this issue. If someone could download the beta linked below and let me know if the issue is resolved that would be awesome!
