I modified the most recent version of the plugin to add support for Admin Icons and Rewrite Front.

You can find it here: Custom Post Type UI Enhanced

I apologize in advance if this is the incorrect place to post this; I'm unaware of the standard operation procedures for this type of thing.

More specifically, Admin Menu Icons via the 'menu_icon' field and Rewrite With Front via the 'with_front' field.

How should I show the changes I made?
Although the changes are straightforward, they are made in 23 places. Is there a good WP plugin or web service for showing side-by-side file comparisons?

    hi

ok, this is not the place but i would know if is there a option to not put custom post type menu in a new menu and instead put all custom type menu togheter or find a way to specify the name of menu (existed or new) where to put the custom post type menus

    sound confuse not?

but coud be a good improvement..

+1 on the inclusion of this feature in the core plugin. I don't see a reason to fork it.

You can checkout the SVN repo here:
    http://plugins.svn.wordpress.org/custom-post-type-ui/

Just make your changes and create a patch file via SVN. I can use that to see your changes and merge into the core of the plugin
