   Forgive the newbie question - just getting started with wordpress :)

   If I install this plug-in, can I then add the menu widget and all those rss type things (as can be seen at the bottom of this page).

   Also, I'm assuming it will retain my overall style (font, etc.)

   I guess u just have to give a try and see what happens! :0
   If it dont do what u want then delete it.

   Sorry for late response. The answer is yes - Custom Headers and Footers plugin should not affect these things - as long as your code entered on pluging config page is correct and does not break page.
