[Plugin: Custom Field Template] Quick edit support with custom post type

If I set my custom field template to be used for any post type then the custom fields show up in the quick edit for my posts.

Now I tried switching the custom field template to use a custom post type I created by putting the new post type in the post type field and the fields show up in the editor, but not the quick editor. Anyone know what to do to get the fields to show up on the quick editor for a custom post type?
