    Hello
after trying differents plugins (magic fields, more fields, simple fields, just custom fields, advanced custom fields, etc…) i finally chose custom field suite because it's simple and the interface is really nicely integrated.

i have a feature request : a new field type to select one of the post's attachments.
    thanks

    francoisromain -

The plugin supports the ability to create custom field types. I might be able to put together a custom type that does this.

One thing though... you can already do something similar using the File Upload field. It involves clicking "Add File" -- then in the popup window, clicking the "Gallery" tab and selecting an already-uploaded file.

    Hello Ligikal16

to create a custom field, are you using cfs_field_types ?
is there a documentation about this function ?

the "file upload field / add file / media library" is almost the feature i would like to have. is it be possible to have the "gallery" tab visible in the pop up window (with the attachments relative to the current post) ? when you have a lot of content, it makes it difficult to find a specific picture in the whole media library.
    thanks

francoisromain - I've patched the plugin so that the Gallery tab appears if files are uploaded to the current post. Version 1.0.3 will be available within the next day or two.

Yes, adding a custom field type involves using cfs_field_types. Documentation will get added for it within a few days. Keep checking http://uproot.us/custom-field-suite/documentation/
