[Plugin: Custom Field Images] Inserting in Templates, not working

Hey there, great plugin, I’m having some issues with inserting into page templates as opposed to using the widget.
I’ve placed <?php cfi_loop($query) ?> in my template, above the title, but the image still appears within the post. Removing the tag changes nothing, and the image remains in the post.
Any help much appreciated.
