Custom Content Type Manager
CCTM Image as RSS Enclosure (5 posts)

    Hello,

I'm new in WP, and I had to make a new Content Type (news) with image. This Image is used in Post Content type also (named default_image). I'd like to place the last 3 elements from this content type to my front page with image and title (and links of course). I figured out that it's possible with Image Feed Widget (I inherited this page, and it was used earlier), but I don't know how to say my RSS Feed to use the Custom Field Image as enclosure, and how to set RSS Feed to my custom content type.
I would be grateful if You could help me.

I'm not sure I'm following what you're trying to do. Have you looked over the wiki and the FAQ?

    Hello,

yes I read the FAQs and try to find the information but I didn't find.
I'd like to use an Image-type Custom Field (named default_image) in RSS feed as enclosure element. Can You provide a link where I can find a howto to relate this custom field to RSS?
    Thanks in advance.

You don't associate a field with a feed: you associate a field with a content type, and then there's an option as to whether you want that content type to show up in an RSS feed (look through the options when you define your content type). WordPress supplies its own format for RSS feeds, so probably the easiest thing to do is use a "featured image", which is not the same as defining an image custom field since WP handles them very differently.

Ok, thanks I'll use the featured image.
