• Thanks for a great plugin. I paid for a “professional” csv importer, and it didn’t work at all, even after spending hours debugging it.

I did have to rename columns and change how I organized the categories in my CSV file, but a half hour later (including various beta tests, and playing around with it, reading the documentation, etc.) all of my data (at least my first sheet – second csv file will be tested shortly) is imported perfectly.

can you give me a few hints how to create the right CSV layout? Headings etc?

oh, I just found the sample files… unfortunately i muffed something and created some totally unchangable ads (classipress); not able to delete them… so I thought Id create a new admin and delete the old one… very clever until my custom pages and post were ALL deleted. Arrrgggghhhhh!

Managed to restore most, then had issues with functions and templates being diabled 🙁 So then had to switch to another theme and back again.. this helped…

So in short… be careful importing CSVs

I am not prepared to say if this add-in works or not yet… I seriously think with a bit of practice it sould work… can’t blame the plug-in for me being a bit dopey! It installed fine and appeared to run.
