[Plugin: CSV Importer] Bulk import via CSV importer creates issue with categorized posts

    Hi

    I did try to import the post with the categories as follows based on your document. Also the post has category, child category and grand child category as well.

    When i import posts with following categories

    Animalia > Chordata > Mammalia

    Categories are created successfully with same hierarchy. But grand child category is only selected when i edit the post. How can i select all categories when i bulk import the posts?

    If you specify the grandchild, it will show up when you click on the parent or grandparent, but it’s only really in one category(which is best for SEO). That’s just how WordPress works.
    You’d have to change the code to call the function multiple times to put it in all the categories, which is not a good idea.

    I did understand your SEO concern. But logically i need to setting up the category structure with the above requirement.

    How can i do that via CSV plugin itself without touching wordpress core or plugin core files? Please help me.

    As you know well about CSV plugin importer, when u set the categories as Animalia > Chordata > Mammalia for any post when i uploaded the posts via CSV uploader, post is set for only the grand child category.

    But i need to enabled parent and child categories too.

    Hope you understand my need.
