    My error log is suddenly being filled with the following error:

    [02-Mar-2009 02:46:26] WordPress database error You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'AND post_status='publish'
                    ORDER BY post_date DESC' at line 4 for query SET NAMES 'utf8' made by require, require_once, include, get_header, locate_template, load_template, require_once, the_excerpt, get_the_excerpt, apply_filters, call_user_func_array, InSeriesInternal->in_series_linker_deactivation, wp_trim_excerpt, apply_filters, call_user_func_array, cref_list_crossreferences, get_the_crossreferences

    What is the problem and how to I fix it?

  • I cannot figure out what your problem is. You can try to rebuild the cross-references table: go to the plugin options page and use the tool “rebuild”. Perhaps this helps. If not, you can try to inactivate all your plugins and then activate them one by one, to see whether this is an incompatibility between 2 of your plugins.
