    Hi

I got this plugin to try and work out why my function wasn’t being triggered and I noticed that the “Next due” column shows dates for when the hook was first scheduled (for example, plugin updates will next be checked in March 2011 when the site was first made).

Is this a sign of my cron not working at all or have I misunderstood what that column is meant to show? Plugin updates do seem to be being found etc so if this is how it does it, this confuses me somewhat!

I have spent hours staring at this stupid schedule/hook/function business and I am tired if trying to get my head around what I am missing; the function works if called on its own, the custom interval is registered fine, the hook is scheduled.

Thanks in advance for any pointers you can give me,

    Dan

Turns out I am on Heart Internet and needed to make alternate cron arrangements. Because my plugins updated fine I never knew wp-cron was blocked. Sorry!
